Zutphen..
A fantastic tour through the city of Zutphen close to the IJssel. Walk through the old narrow streets, the many courtyards and squares, the city canals and enjoy the old historic buildings such as the Swert, the mayor’s residence, the Walburgiskerk, the bakery in the Turfstraat or the sawmills. Or a tour through the canal with a whisper boat is possible. And then there is the harbor with the old ships that used to serve in the Hanseatic times.
Did you know that a steam locomotive used to drive through the old city center of Zutphen? The Veluwe steam train still runs from Apeldoorn to Dieren and there you can take a boat trip back to Zutphen if you want to make it complete.
Cycling to Warnsveld, east of Zutphen, with a beautiful village center and through the vast nature reserves with castles, estates and forests!
